National Letter Writing Day
December 7 @ 11:00 am - 9:00 pm
Yep, people still write letters and use snail mail, as hard as that is to believe. And in the circa-1931 time warp known as Nonpareil, we encourage penmanship and real stamps! To that end, if you come in for lunch or dinner on the 7th, we’ll give you a genuine Nonpareil postcard, with a stamp, and all you need to do is enjoy lunch, dinner and/or dessert, write a note to a favorite person, or maybe someone you haven’t spoken to in awhile, or maybe the person sitting next to you! We’ll mail it for you, and for your effort, consider a payment of 10% off your bill, for each person who writes a note. Not too shabby! When is the last time someone paid you to write an email?! If you come in for dinner between 6 and 8 pm, your writing can be inspired by live, no-cover folk/jazz/fiddle music by Barry of Easy Chair.
